About FishPlanx
FishPlanx is a bi-coastal company based in sunny Florida with close ties to Southern and Northern California (our founder is from San Diego). Our goal is to offer affordable premium custom-shaped SUP's and surfboards, paddling and surfing accessories, custom Longboard and Cruiser skateboards, and high quality apparel that is reasonably priced.
The concept of FishPlanx is modeled after fish found in the Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific waters. Our standard model SUP's (Planx) are named after these fish and then the rails and bottom of the board are airbrushed to match and complement the colors of these fish as close as possible, giving these boards their unique and dramatic appearance.
The company was founded in June of 2012 and brings over 35 years experience in surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. The FishPlanx team is comprised of surfers, skateboarders, snowboarders, skiers, wakeboarders and other outdoor sports enthusiasts that travel the globe to find the perfect conditions to experience. What makes this group different is the fact that we just don’t do these sports on weekends but make it a “Core Lifestyle” to live by! The water is our common bond which we all love to enjoy and is why we founded this company.
