Da Ollie Booba was named after our founders English Bulldog “Ollie”. He loved to skate and chase you as you rode down the street. It is a classic pintail but with some width where its needed to keep your feet planted as you carve and ride.
These boards are designed and crafted based upon proven surfboard and skateboard shapes by riders who ride daily and understand board building principles. Shorter boards will ride and turn much sharper and snappier than a longer board which will give you a more drawn out carve and turn. Wheel base also affects the turning sharpness as well as stability at higher speeds.
We use high performance materials: Bamboo (when available), Canadian Maple, Birch, Carbon Fiber and Bi Directional Fiberglass for strength but keeping the boards light in weight. Excellent for carving, practicing your surf maneuvers, skateparks, pump tracks, cruising the streets and just having fun.
